We are fascinated by understanding quantum phases of interacting matter, hosting exotic excitations, with possible applications in quantum computing. The particular systems we study vary depending on the experiments we try to understand and predict, and include Kondo effects in quantum dots, fractional excitations and non-abelian anyons in the quantum Hall effect, and nearly intermediate scale quantum (NISQ) devices. If you are also fascinated by exploring new phases of matter, contact me! We are hiring a postdoc, PhD student and Master student.
